Her style is inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, which is sometimes described as beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.” This manifests in glazes that might have small bumps and grooves but coupled with crisp typography and prints, it creates a sense of imperfect balance between natural and contemporary.
